VINOFED Prize

The Vinofed Prize is awarded to the best dry wine (max. 4 g/l of sugar) of the competition, i.e. the wine with the highest score in the white, red or rosé category.

GITANA WINERY – LUPI 2016, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Saperavi

• 853 samples from 12 countries took part in the competition.
• 31.3% of the total number of samples were from outside of Romania – the organizing country.
• The jury was made of 36 international jurors from 12 countries, of which 18 jurors from Romania and 18 from other countries (Croatia, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Republic of Moldova, The Netherlands, Switzerland, U.K.). The deadline for online or e-mail registration of samples and for the reception of registered samples is 15 May 2020.
